Enrollment

We are now accepting applications for the 2012-13 AND the 2013-14 school year. Seats for the 2012-13 school year will continue to be offered according to grade availability. Open Enrollment for the 2013-14 school year will remain open until February 28th. If at the close of Open Enrollment the number of applications submitted exceeds the number of seats available for any grade level, a system generated, random lottery will be processed in order to determine who is offered a seat at the school. All application submitted within the Open Enrollment period will have an equal opportunity for admission, regardless of whether they are submitted on the first day or the last day of Open Enrollment.

Enrollment Information Sessions

The following Enrollment Information Sessions have been scheduled to provide parents with enrollment information about Charter Schools USA, more specifically about Keys Gate Charter School. All Information Sessions will begin promptly at the scheduled time.

School Tours

The K-2 school building, located at 2355 SE 28 Avenue, will be offering school tours on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-10:00. Please contact the main office if you'd like more information at 305-230-5630.

The 3rd-7th grade building, located at 2000 SE 28 Avenue, will be offering school tours on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00-11:00. Please contact the main office if you'd like more information at 305-230-1616.

Lottery Process

In the event that the number of applications for any grade exceeds the number of available seats, a random lottery will be held. If a lottery is required the date that the lottery will be processed will be announced and the results posted on the school website. Please note that the lottery is both system generated and random.

After the close of Open Enrollment, there are still a few seats available. All applicants who applied during the Open Enrollment window will receive an official offer sometime in mid to late April. For those interested families who have not yet applied, apply now.

Lottery Results

The lottery for the 2013-14 school year has been processed. The results have been posted below, by grade level. Applicants selected in the lottery will receive an official offer from the school. Applicants who were not selected in the lottery have been placed on the waiting list and will receive an offer should a seat become available.

Registration

Prior to the start of school families will be provided with a registration package and instructions for each child who has received an offered seat.
