Getting to Know Us
Keys Gate Charter School is celebrating its fifth year in the 2007-2008 school year! The school first opened in August 2001 and currently has 1150 students that wear the school colors of yellow and blue with pride! Our school mascot is the Knight and you can feel our school spirit the moment you walk in the door. Our Keys Gate Charter School family includes teachers and staff members from many different races and nationalities. You will be kindly greeted and will love the feel of your surroundings. Our Academic Excellence students love to buddy read to our younger students and spend time assisting them with using the computers in the classroom. Come by for a visit!
KGCS Students Visit Washington, DC
Recently, Middle School students from the National Junior Honor Society and Builder's Club visited Washington DC to see many of the interesting sites. They had an exciting as well as highly educational time along with their chaperones.
New Basketball Courts are Here!
Keys Gate Charter School received its new basketball courts upon returning from Winter Break. We had our first game on January 14th. We hope to see you at future games to cheer on the Knights!
