The Keys Gate Charter School System Local Governing Council
The Keys Gate Charter School System Local Governance Council (LSGC) acts as an advisory to the governing board of the school, The Florida Charter Educational Foundation, Inc. Each director of the LSGC is a Homestead Business/Community member with hopes and visions for a continued and evolving Charter School success. The LSGC meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 8:45 a.m. at Keys Gate Charter High School.

The Florida Charter Educational Foundation, Inc.
The Florida Charter Educational Foundation, Inc. was founded by a diverse group of South Florida based community members, concerned with the educational system offered in the South Florida area. The intent was to provide a first rate academic school option for students and families who work and live in the Homestead community who wanted to see their children attend a quality school nearby. Currently the Board has evolved to the members listed below. Each member is a proud, Florida business and/or community supporter with hopes and visions for a continued and evolving Charter School success. The Board establishes policy consistent with the school's mission and ensures that the programs and operations of the School are faithful to the terms of the Charter. They are also responsible for the legal and financial obligations of the School.
